We are Maite Bengsch and Lukas Reiter.
Together, we founded Transparent Film in 2019 driven by the desire to tell stories that matter to us and that reflect our political convictions

of an open, solidarity-based, and democratic society.

We met at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. Since then, we have been working continuously together, developing projects

with the focus on independent, artistic and political documentary film.

What connects us is our vicinity to the people in front of the camera and our ambition not only to depict reality, but to make it tangible.
